Bosch FLEXIDOME multi 7000i 360 Camera Arrives At SEN For Testing
New from Bosch is the FLEXIDOME 7000i (NDM-7703-A) multi-imaging day/night 360-degree dome camera.
The 7000i has a combined 20MP resolution from its 4 imagers, each with a 3.7-7.7mm motorised zoom and featuring IVA, H.265 compression and IK10 rating against vandalism and IP66 ratings against dust and water.
Out of the box this is a lovely piece of kit with great build quality – it’s also quite compact and with reasonably lightweight at 2.2kg. Operationally, this camera is designed to cover multiple angles of view from a single location, making installations in public space, complex street scenes and wide areas simpler.
Power demand is 30W (PoE+) with typical draw being around 18W. Each of the 4 camera sensors is a 1/2.7‑inch CMOS with 2592 x 1944 resolution, The 3.7 – 7.7 mm lenses each have an aperture of F1.9, while the sensors offer 105 dB WDR, with Bosch High Dynamic Range settings elevating this to 120dB.
Same as other Bosch cameras, there’s Bosch Intelligent Video Analytics, cloud-based services, Bosch Remote Portal and Bosch Project Assistant app. The analytics suite is comprehensive, including alarm reporting, as well as assisting search functions.
