According to CRK’s Douglas Kennedy, the company’s integrator network has supplied nearly 70 Dahua thermal camera systems to healthcare facilities all over Australia.

“Tier 1 hospitals currently using the Dahua thermal camera solution include Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Cabrini Hospital Brighton, Cabrini Hospital Malvern, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and St Vincent’s Public Hospital,” Kennedy said.

“We’re very pleased to have been able to assist healthcare organisations protect their staff and vulnerable patients at such a difficult time by helping so many of them deploy this highly accurate body temperature management solution,” Kennedy said.

“CRK has been in the medical industry since 1982. We have many specialist integration partners able to sell , install, calibrate and support the product across Australia. This has enabled extremely fast and efficient deployment of these critical devices at such an important time.”

Dahua’s PoE DH-TPC-BF3221-T thermal hybrid bullet camera features 256 x 192-pixel VOx uncooled thermal sensor technology, with a high thermal sensitivity of <50mK, a focus free athermalized lens with a focal length of 7mm and an operating distance of 3 metres.

The camera features body temperature measurement with an accuracy of ±0.3C in the presence of an adjacent ‘black body’. A perfect black body in thermal imaging is an object which absorbs all incoming light and is used as a calibration reference point.

This Dahua hybrid camera includes a 1/2.8-inch 2MP progressive scan Sony optical CMOS, featuring region of interest, motion detection and colour palettes, active deterrence with white light and siren, 2 alarm inputs and outputs, MicroSD memory and IP67 rating.
