DIEBOLD is currently installing Telguard Classic and DataBurst products for many top commercial banks and federal credit unions. These products constantly monitor the wired network and can automatically switch communications to the cellular network via Telular’s patented transmission technology. Telguard provides a reliable communication path for alarm signals as well as a backup system for voice, fax and data transmission to ensure Diebold customers are fully protected 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We take pride in being a single-source supplier for all of our customers’ electronic security needs, so it’s imperative we offer a security back-up solution like that of Telular,” said Vince Lupe, director of Electronic Security Group for Diebold. “We selected the Telguard product line because of its powerful cellular radio featuring strong signal strength and in-building penetration, its full security data reporting and its nationally recognized Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certifications for attack resistance in banks, safes and vaults.”

Diebold also uses Telguard products in retail outlets for fire and commercial burglary systems throughout the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />United States and plans to add additional Telular products to its security portfolio in the future and expand its product offerings outside the country.

“The ability to communicate and send alarms is critically important and needs to be protected, especially for financial institutions,” said Ken Millard, president and CEO of Telular. “With Telguard, Diebold can rest assured it is using high quality, reliable products to ensure its customers are protected 24/7. We are pleased to be a trusted partner of Diebold.”
