EasyGate For 32 Smith – Premium office building 32 Smith in the Parramatta CBD has installed EasyGate SPT security gates to match its state-of-the-art design.

Located in the ground floor main reception area, the EasyGate SPT speedgates feature a Dulux Electro Dark Bronze flat finish that complements the building’s interior metal work and modern aesthetic.

Integrated lights offer a vibrant contrast as they guide guests through the gates by changing colour. There are 5 customisable safety and security options available, and a dedicated sensor array prevents gates closing if a user is in the lane.

According to local distributor, Centaman Entrance Control, the new 1200mm wide speedgates have solid security credentials backed up by cutting edge technology – including built-in infra-red sensors that target and exclude any tailgaters who might try to enter the building behind an authorised staff member or visitor.

EasyGate SPT systems can intelligently communicate with other on-site access control systems – at 32 Smith Street the visitor experience is made easier thanks to built-in Otis destination lift control display panels that allocate lifts to visitors. Remote diagnostics is another useful feature that allows for easy off-site identification and management of issues.

Centaman Entrance Control’s Michael Bystram said bespoke security solutions are important elements of prestige commercial buildings and can be easily tailored to complement individual design aesthetics.

32 Smith is certified as a 6-star Green Star design by the Green Building Council of Australia. The building was designed to minimise energy and water consumption and has sustainable design features including a raised terrace with river views and a tree covered sky deck. High profile businesses occupying the 27-floor building include international insurance and reinsurance expert QBE Insurance.
