♦ Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Pro – Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Pro is a new Wi-Fi-connected video doorbell with a primary 5MP night vision camera, secondary 8MP package camera, programmable display, and porch light.
G4 Doorbell Pro’s main camera is equipped with IR LED to provide enhanced night vision that, when combined with the built-in porch light, ensures a reliably clear surveillance feed around the clock. The unit also features echo-cancelling 2-way audio so you can interact with visitors, and its programmable display allows users to give alerts or delivery instructions to couriers.
Designed to be a powerful, plug-and-play security tool, the G4 Doorbell Pro can be set up and configured in minutes with the UniFi Protect application using Bluetooth. The IPX4-rated, weather-resistant casing comes with a mount, angle mount, screw kit, and chime power kit.
Of note, the main 5MP sensor is able to record in 1080p at 30FPS, while a secondary 8MP camera aimed at the ground in order to specifically monitor package drop-offs. There’s also a built-in screen with customization options allowing showcasing of messages and colour images to visitors.
You can use existing wiring or a USB-C cable. That second option lets you use PoE to connect to other devices. This doorbell also has a built-in fingerprint sensor, as well as NFC support to unlock a front door – UniFi Smart Lock is still awaited by the market.
