SECTECH Roadshow sets up at Australian Technology Park, Locomotive Street, Eveleigh, today, May 16! This is your only chance to see the latest electronic security tech and rub shoulders with fellow installers, integrators, consultants and end users in Australia’s largest market for at least 15 months.

Come along and see all the latest electronic security products and solutions from Hills, Bosch, Inner Range, QSS, BGWT, Digiguard, Hikvision, Panasonic, C.R. Kennedy, Dahua, Mobotix, Sylo, Tyco, LSC, Canon and Axis Communications in one perfectly focused day at Australia’s premier technology exhibition venue!

The exhibition opens at 12pm, the Camera Shootout runs at 3pm – that’s right – it’s so huge we can only run the shootout one time for an hour with half an hour for questions and re-plays. Once the demo is over, we’ll segue into Happy Hour with loads of unbelievable prizes from 4.30-6pm.

SecTech Roadshow (register here for Brisbane next Wednesday May, 18!) is the perfect opportunity to see the industry’s leading manufacturers and distributors and all the latest electronic security products to your home town! No travel costs, no accommodation costs and everything is free. See the latest gear from Tyco, Inner Range Inception, Sylo Cortex – an all-in-one security and communications unit for safer public spaces, Bosch G Panel and fire detection camera, everything new from Hills, all the FLIR cameras from QSS, the lateest cameras from Axis, new S2 access control gear from BGWT and tons more.

At SecTech Camera Shootout we’ll test the best CCTV cameras in the business across 3 categories, Best Lowlight/All-Rounder, Best Compact Entry Dome and Best 4K/5MP Plus in low light, backlight and IR light, paying special attention to low light, backlight, IR and motion blur. Participating camera manufacturers include Bosch, Vivotek, Axis, Canon, Hikvision, Uniview, Dallmeier, Dahua, Panasonic, Sony and Samsung, our VMS is Genetec 5.4, we are using a Genetec server and a pair of Juniper switch. If you've ever wanted to line all the best CCTV cameras up in a row and turn off the lights, this one's for you!

At all times we’ll be paying attention to key parameters like motion blur, colour rendition, contrast, sharpness, flare and ghosting, latency, ISO noise and noise suppression and rebuild artefacts. Our test targets, Norman and Ronnie Rotakin are especially interested highlighting motion blur in unassisted low light, given blur plays such an important role in denying face recognition, LPR and identification of moving vehicles.

SecTech Roadshow is about new electronic security products and solutions, what they offer and how they work – no more and no less. Don’t miss it at Australian Technology Park, Locomotive Street, Eveleigh, this Monday, May 16, 12-6pm. We look forward to seeing you there! ♦
