]]>The device is powered by an embedded high-performance processor supported by 4GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. There’s audio communication through 2 built-in omnidirectional microphones and dual loudspeakers. Audio processing includes noise suppression and echo cancellation designed to improve call clarity during door station conversations. Supported audio compression formats include G.711A, G.711U, G.722.1, G726, Opus, AAC and AAC_LD.
Integration is a strength – the DS-KH9570-WTE1 supports integration with multiple devices within a door entry network. The system can connect to up to 17 door stations, 15 indoor extensions and 16 network cameras, allowing users to view camera feeds and communicate with door stations directly from the touchscreen interface.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth BLE 5.0 and a 10/100Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet interface. The device supports a range of network protocols including IPv4, SIP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, RTSP, RTP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP and ARP, along with ONVIF for integration with compatible video devices.
Meanwhile, local storage is available via a TF card slot supporting cards up to 256GB. The system can store up to 200 captured images, 200 alarm records, 200 unlock records and 200 tamper records for review via the interface. The Hikvision DS-KH9570-WTE1 door station is a good size, measuring 246.58mm x 155.76mm x 23.62mm deep and it weighs 545g.
The station includes a proximity sensor with a detection distance of approximately 50cm and a field of view of 25 degrees horizontally and vertically. Power is via 12V DC or IEEE 802.3at PoE, with power consumption rated at up to 24W – a PoE option is cool, speaking of which operating temps range from -10C to 50C.
