Hills Of Gold Security Solution In New England Sought By Someva.
Hills Of Gold Security Solution – An expression of interest has been released for the Hills of Gold Wind Farm in New England NSW, with security personnel and CCTV provision included as part of a broader construction services requirement.
The Hills of Gold Wind Farm is a large-scale renewable energy project, and the breadth of the EOI reflects the complexity of the construction phase, with multiple contractors, mobile plant, materials and temporary infrastructure requiring coordination across an extended site footprint.
The project, which is about 8 kays outside Nundle, will have 62 wind turbines and will generate up to 372 MW of clean, affordable and reliable energy – that’s enough to power 163,000 homes. Meanwhile, Someva’s EOI is open to local businesses supporting the development phase of the wind farm, including plant operation, labour, infrastructure, safety and site services.
From a security perspective, the scope includes provision of personnel during construction as well as deployment of CCTV systems to support site monitoring and asset protection.
Given the rural location and scale of the project, contractors will need to consider deployment models suited to temporary and evolving site conditions, including mobile surveillance, flexible coverage and integration with other site systems.
The EOI remains open until June 30, 2027, reflecting the staged nature of the Hills of Gold project and the requirement for services throughout construction.
