AHS 600kg Electromagnetic Lock For High Security Perimeter Doors.
AHS 600kg Electromagnetic Lock – Architectural Hardware Supplies ML-600BLK is a discrete black finish version of its powerful 600kg holding force electromagnetic lock designed for internal access control applications.
Designed for perimeter doors requiring high holding force and lock status monitoring and distributed by ISCS, the ML-600BLK supports both 12VDC and 24VDC operation and incorporates magnetic bond sensing and door position monitoring with a current consumption of 500mA at 12VDC or 250mA at 24VDC.
The lock is housed in an anodised aluminium body finished in black to suit darker door frames and contemporary architectural applications.
Integrated monitoring includes Magnetic Bond Sense (MBS), which confirms the armature is correctly bonded to the magnet, and a Door Position Sensor (DPS), which monitors whether the door is open or closed.
These outputs allow the lock to provide status information to an access control or building management system, supporting alarm monitoring, event reporting and system diagnostics.
Electrical terminations are made via screw terminals mounted on the internal printed circuit board beneath the cover plate. During installation, the voltage selection jumper must be configured for either 12VDC or 24VDC operation.
AHS recommends allowing the armature plate to self-align during installation to ensure full magnetic contact and maximum holding force.
The AHS 600kg Electromagnetic Lock measures 266mm long, 40mm wide and 73mm high and is designed for internal installation. It can be paired with optional mounting brackets, including L and Z brackets, for installation on a range of inward and outward opening door configurations.
