HID To Preview Signo Décor At Security 2026 – HID will preview its new Signo Décor access control reader at Security Exhibition & Conference 2026 in Sydney, ahead of the range’s Australian release in October.
Signo Décor combines HID’s Signo reader platform with a flush-mounted design that integrates discreetly into contemporary commercial interiors. The range supports physical credentials and mobile access using Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC.
The readers are built on OSDP for secure bidirectional communications and use a modular architecture allowing integration with intercoms, lifts, turnstiles and other access control hardware.
“Organisations are increasingly managing identities across multiple sites and environments, making consistency and centralised control critical,” said HID’s head of ANZ, Physical Access Control Solutions, Steve Katanas.
“They need security that works reliably, supports a mobile-first experience and fits naturally into the spaces people use every day.
“Security is still the priority, but design and user experience now also matter more than ever.
“Signo Décor was developed to help organisations achieve all these objectives,” Katanas said.
HID will also show its new Mercury S4 I/O Modules, which extend the Mercury open-architecture access control platform with enhanced cybersecurity, increased processing performance and operational resilience.
Another new product is the OMNIKEY Plug Series, comprising compact cable-free readers supporting smart cards, passkeys and mobile credentials in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. The readers are designed to support phishing-resistant password-less authentication for workstations, applications and cloud services.
HID will also demonstrate OMNIKEY embedded modules for integrating credential technologies into turnstiles, elevators, smart lockers, printers and other connected systems.
Also making its first Australian appearance will be the HID FARGO HDP5000e card printer, shown alongside the FARGO Connect cloud-enabled credential issuance platform. The combination supports centralised design, issuance, printing and management of credentials across multiple locations.
Completing HID’s identity and access line-up will be HID Amico biometric readers, which use facial recognition for applications requiring higher levels of identity assurance.
HID will be showing its latest products and technologies on stand D37A at Security Exhibition & Conference 2026, being held at ICC Sydney from 2-4 September.
