NEW from CSD is the Hikvision Gen2 IP intercom, which has a modular design allowing it to meet the demands of a modern building’s infrastructure and 5 different door station modules that can be used to create the door entry panel – the indicator, keypad, name scroll, nametag and reader modules.

This modular design provides the integrator with the flexibility to create a door station fit for purpose. Combine this flexibility with the stylish touch screen room stations, Hikvision offers a completely customisable intercom solution.

The video intercom is designated for door entry communication including video and security access especially suitable for residential, public and SME sector. It includes modular outdoor station and several optional indoor stations, which can be easily connected in a home.

The modular outdoor station features industrial design and various optional functional modules, such as nametag module, keypad module, card reader module, indicator module, blank module and others. The installer or user can configure it according to their needs.

The fisheye camera on the outdoor station can provide a 180-degree wide-angle and 2MP high-definition image, and the technologies of WDR and night vision can help the indoor station present an detailed image quality. In addition, the video intercom supports all standard POE power supply, the installation is easy and the operation is user-friendly. It has flexible compatibility and can integrate with CCTV systems.

When a person comes to the door, behaviours – pressing buttons, swiping a card, or disassembly – will trigger the cameras linked to the system to capture images and video. This is then recorded by the system’s NVR/DVR.
