Alarm.com’s new Flex IO is a battery-powered weatherproof device with a wired magna-loop input for use outdoors on entry points and gates, that uses the latest LTE-M technology to operate anywhere there is LTE coverage and without a panel, hub or WiFi.
The Flex IO sensor has an expected battery life of more than 2 years and end users receive reports of events through real-time notifications and customizable alerts configured through the Alarm.com mobile app. Flex IO works as a standalone solution or as part of an Alarm.com-driven solution and it can be integrated with other sensor devices to offer flood or motion detection.
