Access Hardware Unveils Unified Identity That Links Access And Security Companies.
Access Hardware Unveils Unified Identity – Access Hardware has unveiled a new unified brand identity in the form of a logo that links its group of access and security companies.
The business, founded by the Lowndes family in 1975 as a single North Melbourne shopfront, has grown into a national network of more than 300 staff operating across Access Hardware, API Access & Security, Jacksons Security and Fenton Doors.
“Over 5 decades of operation the group has expanded through organic growth and targeted acquisitions, broadening its footprint and capability across architectural door hardware, commercial locksmithing, access control, electronic security and integrated high security solutions,” said Access Hardware’s managing director, Spencer Lowndes.
With more than 12 locations nationwide, including trade counters and locksmithing branches, the group now services projects and customers in every major market.
“My parents set out to build a business grounded in service, expertise and strong relationships,” Lowndes said.
“5 decades later, those same foundations have helped us grow into a nationally connected network in access & security, supporting customers across Australia.”
According to Lowndes, the group’s new unified brand identity visually connects all group brands for the first time. The new branding features a shared logo led by a shield icon intended to reference common themes across the businesses.
“We chose the shield because it reflects exactly what customers expect from us — trust, protection and confidence,” Lowndes said.
“Whether it’s door hardware, locksmithing or security systems, our role is to help safeguard the spaces that matter. When customers see the shield, they can be confident they’re dealing with the leaders in door hardware, locksmithing and security, backed by a nationally connected network.”
The group has also introduced a new name, Access & Security Co, to describe and connect the organisation. Lowndes explained that Access & Security Co will not trade directly with customers but will act as a master brand for the group, providing a framework to present Access Hardware, API Access & Security, Jacksons Security and Fenton Doors as a connected network of companies while preserving each brand’s established identity.
“Access Hardware remains an Australian, family-owned business and as part of Access & Security Co, it continues to operate alongside its sister brands to deliver door hardware, locksmithing and security solutions across the country,” Lowndes said.
