ACT Government Seeks CCTV Installation for Priority Intersections In ACT.
ACT Government Seeks CCTV – The City and Environment Directorate of the ACT Government has released a tender for network operations CCTV installation at priority intersections, aiming to enhance urban surveillance and traffic oversight.
As part of the engagement, tenderers will be required to inspect all poles identified for CCTV camera mounting to verify their structural integrity and report any defects or compliance issues prior to installation to ensure cameras are mounted safely and in accordance with project and regulatory standards.
The tender calls for the supply and installation of CCTV units on approved poles, with principal-issued signage to be installed directly beneath or as close as practicable to each camera. This approach ensures clear identification and compliance with applicable legal and safety frameworks. Full technical and scope documentation is included in the tender package.
This initiative forms part of the ACT Government’s broader commitment to safer, smarter cities through targeted CCTV deployments at critical traffic and pedestrian nodes.
This ACT Government seeks CCTV tender closes at 2pm on January 27, 2026 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
