Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park CCTV Solution Goes To Tender.

Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park CCTV – Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park Lighting and CCTV Project has gone to tender.

The Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium seeks to install lighting and CCTV solutions at various locations within the Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park.

This will enable evening opening, curated events and garden experiences at night and facilitate safe passage across the ABG and BP. This procurement seeks delivery of a permanent lighting infrastructure and a CCTV network, including purchase of components and installation.

The Adelaide Botanic Garden is a 130-acre public garden at the north-east corner of the Adelaide city centre, in the Adelaide Park Lands. It encompasses a fenced garden on North Terrace (between Lot Fourteen, the site of the old Royal Adelaide Hospital, and the National Wine Centre) and behind it the Botanic Park (adjacent to the Adelaide Zoo). Work was begun on the site in 1855, with its official opening to the public on 4 October 1857.

The Adelaide Botanic Garden and adjacent State Herbarium of South Australia, together with the Wittunga Botanic Garden and Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, comprise the Botanic Gardens of South Australia, administered by the Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, a state government statutory authority.

This Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park CCTV (and lighting) tender closes at 5pm on April 18 – you can find out more here, or read more SEN news here.
