AI-Enabled Traffic Camera System For Mackay Southern Breakwater – North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) is seeking a technology partner to supply and install an integrated traffic monitoring solution for the Mackay Southern Breakwater Access Road, with a request for tender now open for submissions.

The project will see the installation of a system combining variable speed signage with CCTV powered by artificial intelligence analytics. According to the tender documentation, the system is intended to track and analyse traffic volumes on the breakwater, a privately managed road that also allows public access.
