Ajax Blasts Market With 55 New Products – Ajax Systems staged its 7th Ajax Special Event last week, introduced 55 new security devices and giving the market a detailed look at the development road map across the company’s Baseline and Superior product lines.

Some of these solutions we’ve seen before in pre-release, including the EN54 fire range, Grade 3 wireless intrusion and the Hub BP Jeweller for remote applications – both important releases that significantly broaden installers’ market offering.

It goes without saying that we really like alarm systems at SEN and a big release like this is a pleasure to see. Having talked alarms, the Ajax team also enhanced its video surveillance offering – that’s another area installers should pay attention to when considering this new stuff.

We’re going to look at some highlights from the range over the next while but in the first instance we’ll run through some key elements, starting with the Ajax Grade 3 wireless intrusion system – Grade 3 offers an elevated level of security for challenging applications requiring enhanced detection, tamper protection and internal system comms uptime.

The Grade 3 intrusion system incorporates a suite of wireless Grade 3-certified devices, including detectors, keypads, sirens, panic buttons, range extenders, integration modules, and the Superior Hub G3 Jeweller control panel. These devices communicate internally using Superior Jeweller, a new iteration of the company’s radio protocol designed to extend range and resistance to interference.

Ajax CCTV solutions have been divided into Baseline and Superior product lines. In the Baseline range, Ajax has introduced HLVF cameras with motorised varifocal lenses and autofocus, allowing installers to adjust zoom for wide or narrow coverage. The new NVR H2D series supports up to 2 hard drives with redundancy options, along with split recording. PoE variants can directly power and connect up to 16 cameras. The Baseline video products are scheduled for availability in early 2026.

The Superior video line was expanded with HLVF cameras incorporating hybrid illumination, an improved CMOS sensor, and a motorised P-Iris lens to manage exposure. These cameras include 2-way audio and a junction box with an integrated speaker and both ranges are compatible with MountCam wall mounts.

Superior NVRs were introduced as the company’s first NVRs with built-in AI designed to work with Ajax cameras and third-party devices. The units support 32 channels, up to 24 TB on each of 2 hard drives, and simultaneous playback of four 4K streams – this new gear will be available for order in Q1 2026.

Something that caught our eye was the Superior MegaHub – Ajax’s highest-capacity control panel. MegaHub supports up to 999 wired or wireless devices in any mix, with no limit on sirens. As a Grade 3 unit, it includes certified sabotage protection and supports 100 groups, 100 automation scenarios, and up to 1000 users – it will be available from Q1 2026.

Ajax also introduced Superior Hub Hybrid 2. This hybrid control panel supports up to 250 devices with no limit on sirens, along with 25 groups, 64 automation scenarios, and 100 users. It doubles the capacity of its predecessor and is intended for medium-to-large installations requiring Grade 3 certification and wired/wireless combinations. Superior Hub Hybrid 2 is expected to be available in Q4 2025.

There were also 2 new Baseline outdoor curtain-type detectors were added to the range. The Ajax Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller is designed for narrow penetration zones such as doorways or window lines. It has 2 sensitivity modes and no blind zones across its detection window.

Meanwhile, the CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller – the first Ajax curtain detector with an integrated camera for alarm verification – incorporates PIR and K-band sensors with a pre-alarm boundary. Both these sensors are scheduled for availability in Q4 2025.

Next comes a very worthwhile upgrade to Hub BP Jeweller, the battery-powered Ajax hub. This updated version can operate for up to 4 years on a single battery in battery power saver mode, supporting remote environments with limited or unstable power. It’s impressive performance. The upgraded Hub BP Jeweller is already available to order in some markets, with wider availability and the new Case E (395) enclosure rolling out in Q1 2026.

Another announcement was EN54 Line, a fully wireless commercial fire detection and alarm system certified to EN 54 that we’ve talked about before in SEN. This range includes detectors, manual call points, sounders, and the EN 54-certified Fire Hub Jeweller. According to the Ajax states that EN54 Line is designed for rapid installation without programming and supports on-site or remote control via mobile apps. The system is already available to order in selected regions, with wider rollout expected in early 2026.

Expansions to Ajax Services were also announced, including subscription-based service options that allow installers using Ajax PRO to extend functionality, including Ajax SIM for connectivity, Ajax Ultra DP for dual-path signalling, Ajax Cloud Storage for camera footage, and Ajax Photo Mode for alarm verification via third-party monitoring platforms.

Ajax also enabled service activation through card payments inside Ajax PRO, including Ajax Tool for Engineers, with rollout continuing globally. Of note, Ajax said it intends to allow end users to purchase services directly within the Ajax app.
