Alice Springs Multicultural Centre Seeks Security – Northern Territory Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is preparing a future tender for the design and construction of the Alice Springs Multicultural Centre.

This tender is expected to be released on February 28, 2026, and the project will take an existing design from approximately 70 per cent completion through to full documentation and delivery of the works.

The scope includes construction of a new $A5 million multicultural facility incorporating internal and external event spaces, kitchen and amenity areas, and a stage designed to support community gatherings and public events.

From a security and technology perspective, the project includes associated ICT infrastructure, audiovisual systems, and integration with the surrounding precinct CCTV network, requiring coordination between building, technology and security design disciplines.

The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is the Northern Territory Government’s central infrastructure delivery agency, responsible for planning, procurement and delivery of major public assets across health, education, justice, community and civic sectors.
