Aritech Releases Access Control Keypad – Aritech Australia has announced the availability of the NXG-183x-EUR Keypad and Aritech Reliance XR series door access feature.
Using the new keypad and the enhanced MIFARE functionality of Reliance XR, users can add basic door control to their Aritech Reliance XR security system.
Via the optional integrated MIFARE reader, the user can scan a card or tag to perform various arm/disarm functions, unlock a door and initiate automated scenes and actions. The keypad menus allow to manage all user credentials and control all doors in the system.
The keypad backplate has the mounting points in the same position as the legacy NetworX/Hills Reliance keypads so no additional drilling is required when migrating to the Aritech Reliance XR Series security system. The backplate also allows easy cable entry and incorporates cable conduits from 4 directions.
The new LCD keypad range of keypads designed for the Aritech Reliance XR Series of security systems is available in white or anthracite. A keypad button cover can be closed to hide the buttons when not using the system or it can be removed to allow faster operation. A large graphical display makes system messages easily readable.
A multi-colour ring shape status indicator will alert the user in case of an incident or fault or will simply provide the system status. Large buttons and a selection of background ambient light ensure error-free operation, even in a darkened environment. Users can choose from various colour schemes for background light of both the display and the buttons to blend with décor.
There are 4 pre-programmed function buttons that allow the user to perform common functions. Additionally, 4 special buttons offer combined functionality for simplified operation. A single touch of a button will initiate features like manual bypass, enable the chime mode or trigger a scene. Meanwhile, pressing a button for 2 seconds can signal a fire or medical emergency or activate a hold-up alarm.
