ASIS ACT Seminar Topics Announced For SAGE – ASIS ACT seminar program at SAGE 2025 (pre-register here!) will open at 11am with Hamish Hansford, Head of National Security at the Department of Home Affairs, presenting on Security and Resilience.

At 12pm, Professor Clive Williams MG of The Terrorism Research Centre will speak on How the Chinese intelligence service operates in the West and at 1pm, Pia Andrews from Public Sector Reformer will discuss Digital transformation for security: real time responses to real time threats.

The 2pm session will feature David Johnson, Director of Coras, and Sam MacDonald, Principal Consultant at Argus Consulting, who will explore Risk to Resilience: Reimagining an Organisational Approach to Insider Threat.

Then at 3pm, Jordan Carmichael, Chief Executive Officer of Helix Technology Services, and Ruarri Fairweather, Principal and Chief Legal Officer at Heliswot Lawyers & Advisors and Kodora AI, will present ‘Because We Can – Should We? Digital Vetting and Ideological Threat Detection In The Age Of Online Radicalisation’.

Meanwhile, the ASIS ACT training sessions will follow this schedule: From 8:30 to 10:00am, Insider Threats will run in Room 1, while SCEC Zone Construction will be held in Room 2.

Between 10:30am and 12:00pm, the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) session will be in Room 1, with Gallagher Type 1A and EACS in Room 2.

At 1:30 to 3:00pm, Making Sense of AI will take place in Room 1 and Acoustic Security in Room 2. The final session, from 3:00 to 4:30pm, will cover Enterprise Risk Management in Room 1 and Emanation Security in Room 2.
