ASSA ABLOY R100 Aperio Reader

♦ ASSA ABLOY R100 Aperio Reader – the R100 surface mount Aperio wireless reader from DAS, requires no drilling or pulling of wires.

The reader can be fixed firmly to glass or metal surfaces in minutes and works with all ASSA ABLOY electrified locking devices, including electromagnetic locks, electrified strikes, electric locks and electrified exit devices.

Driven by 2.4GHz Aperio wireless technology, the R100 supports HID Multiclass SE card technologies, allowing it to integrate easily with existing access control systems and their car technologies.

The unit is IP65-rated against dust and moisture, has an operating range of 0-50C, and communicates with users and installers via LEDs and audible tones. Power is via a pair of AA Lithium batteries giving 50,000 event cycles (there’s a backup microUSB option for power), and reader dimensions are around 5 x 9 x 7cm.

Card technologies supported include 125kHz and 13.56MHz, allowing the reader to handle HID iCLASS, HID iCLASS SE (SIO-enabled), HID iCLASS Seos, HID MIFARE SE, HID DESFire EV1 SE, MIFARE CLASSIC and DESFire EV1.

Contact DAS for more information on the R100 reader.
