Axis Partners With FF Fast LPR – Axis Communications has partnered with LPR developer FF on very fast vehicle detection and identification software powered by neural networks using the Axis Radar Fusion Camera.
According to Axis, CAMMRA by FF Group is the most advanced Edge LPR software on the market that recognizes license plates and vehicle specification and can be installed on AXIS cameras in less than 10 minutes.
Designed to analyse highway load and highway traffic density + forecast/planning, as well as to identify vehicle type and to detect all licence plates, the system is installed on cameras at key points at the highway.
Axis Partners With FF Fast LPR
Data gathered provides statistics on highway traffic, according to the date, month, etc. for city events planning, road load analysis, vehicle identification, including plate, make, model, and more. A multi-server backend, FF DataFactory, can handle data from hundreds of Axis cameras.
API options include JSON, TCP-IP, ONVIF, VAPIX and UTMC, making the solution easy to integrate into existing traffic surveillance systems for police, councils, transport authorities and more.
