Balonne Shire Council Seeks CCTV Upgrades – Balonne Shire Council has released a tender for CCTV upgrades and network expansion across multiple towns in South-West Queensland under the 2025 Secure Communities Grant Program.
This tender BSC seeks contractors to supply, install and commission new and upgraded surveillance infrastructure across towns including St George, Dirranbandi, Bollon and Thallon.
The scope includes comprehensive CCTV system deployment, integration with existing council infrastructure and commissioning of town-based camera networks to improve coverage across public spaces. Installers are expected to provide complete solutions, including hardware supply, installation, testing, system configuration and operational handover.
Balonne Shire includes the communities of Bollon, Dirranbandi, Hebel, Mungindi, Nindigully and Thallon, with St George as the administrative centre. This program is intended to modernise surveillance capability across key township precincts, supporting local safety initiatives and providing council with improved monitoring and response tools.
