BGW Technologies, the national value add distributor of world class security and technology products, adds Senstar Perimeter Intrusion Detection products to its portfolio.

Senstar has the world’s largest portfolio of perimeter intrusion detection sensors for over 35 years and is well suited with the BGW Technologies’ product offering.

“This is an exciting time for both our companies,” said Robert Meachem, general manager for BGW Technologies. “Senstar perimeter intrusion detection products are a great fit for our business and with our current range of products, we are able to fulfil an area that complements what we do. It further helps us to offer a complete solution from lens to monitor and cater for enterprise class perimeter detection, adding further value to our customers”.

Senstar is also pleased with the partnership.

“Senstar looks forward to working with BGW in delivering solutions to meet the evolving security needs of our customers,” said Graeme Howes director of APAC Support Centre. “With BGW’s commitment to providing quality service and products and the geographical coverage it provides throughout Australia, we see this as a logical and exciting step forward”.

According to Meacham, thanks to its experienced technical people BGW Technologies is very well positioned to deliver to its trade customers a total solution, considering its comprehensive range of products including well-respected brands in servers, VMS, workstations, network switches, wireless IP equipment, UPS and much more.

“We are in the process of taking delivery of FlexZone fence-mounted sensors, OmniTrax buried sensors and UltraWave microwave sensors into our national warehouse for urgent and small projects as well as training people across our business in areas of sales and support roles, which we hope will enhance the attractiveness of the product in the Aussie market,” Meachem said.
