BGW Technologies Opens New Keilor Park Branch Significantly Expanding Its Victorian Operations.
BGW Technologies Opens New Keilor Park Branch – BGW Technologies has opened its new Keilor Park branch, marking a significant expansion of its Victorian operations.
According to Rob Meacham, executive general manager, BGW Technologies, the opening drew strong attendance from 70 customers, suppliers and industry partners throughout the afternoon.
“In a major milestone for BGW Technologies we officially opened our brand-new Keilor Park branch in Victoria — and what a day it was,” Meachem said.
“Our grand opening and Christmas party were combined into one fantastic event, with customers, suppliers, and partners rolling through the new site all afternoon.”
Through a busy afternoon guests inspected the new facility and spoke with staff, with hospitality being a particular feature of the day.
“Thanks to the infamous Louis Mavrelis, Victoria state manager, the mouthwatering gyros did not disappoint,” Meacham said. “A massive 15kg of lamb and 15kg of pork layered alternately on the spit (30kg total), and 10kg of chicken cooked on a separate spit – a whopping 40kg of meat in total kept everyone well-fed throughout the afternoon — an impressive feat in itself.”
The new Keilor Park branch is purpose-built to support the Victorian security market and provides a significant upgrade in space and functionality. The site includes 10 onsite parking spaces, a large trade counter, a modern training room, a technology lab, a project staging area and triple the warehouse capacity. The expanded layout is intended to streamline access, improve efficiency, and enhance support for BGW Technologies’ customers.
At the official opening prize draws and giveaways were supported by suppliers, with winners including AV Security, Convergint Technologies and ADT (i-Pro), Fortis (Milestone), PMT (Motorola Solutions), GENX (Uniview), Innotec (Tyco), SAPIO (Paradox) and KPMTEC (Optex).
“Our new branch represents a major step in expanding our service and support for the Victorian market,” Meacham said. “The opening event was a fantastic way to introduce the site and celebrate with the customers and partners who continue to support our growth.”
The branch is now fully operational and will support further expansion of BGW Technologies’ Victorian footprint.
