Brisbane City Council has gone to tender seeking comprehensive electronic security solutions.

Brisbane City Council is seeking offers for the provision of electronic security and related services which encompass the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electronic systems including security alarms, wireless and fixed-point duress, access control, intercoms, emergency call points (ECPs) and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.

City of Brisbane administers a significant portion of the Brisbane metropolitan area, serving almost half of the population of the Brisbane Greater Capital City Statistical Area. As such, it has a larger population than any other local government area in Australia – more than 1,250,000 in 2020. City of Brisbane administers a budget of more than $A3 billion, by far the largest budget of any local government area in Australia.
