CCTV And Access Control For Katanning Police Station – Western Australia Police Force is seeking to upgrade CCTV and access control systems at Katanning Police Station.
The tender covers supply, installation, integration, engineering, programming, testing and commissioning of new security infrastructure. The scope includes the replacement of legacy equipment and the enhancement of physical and electronic security systems to meet operational requirements.
Katanning is one of 159 police stations maintained across 15 districts, forming part of the state’s law enforcement network. WA Police operates across a jurisdiction of more than 2.5 million square kilometres and is supported by a fleet of over 2200 vehicles, alongside air support, digital forensics and a dedicated internal security network.
The Katanning station security upgrade – the station score a $1.5 million overall upgrade post-COVID – forms part of the broader strategy to maintain operational readiness and coverage across both metropolitan and regional areas through improved site-based security systems.
