City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia is seeking expressions of interest for supply and install of CCTV infrastructure at residential properties as part of its CCTV Partnership Program.
“While the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder is not the primary body responsible for crime prevention, the city is committed to assisting the WA Police Force in managing anti-social behaviour and increasing community safety for residents,” said the tender.
“The program will provide a rebate scheme to residential homeowners that install front-of-property CCTV cameras using the preferred supplier and abide by the set criteria. The city will refund each residential homeowner in the program with a maximum rebate of $A500 or the cost of the installation, whichever is less.
“The intention of the Program is to stimulate the local economy by engaging a local business to supply and install the infrastructure, while also increasing community surveillance to address antisocial behaviour.”
Security installers interested in supplying and installing CCTV for this program are encouraged to submit an expression of interest by emailing mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au or by mail to PO Box 2042, Boulder WA 6432.
The tender expressions of interest must be received by March 10 – you can find out more here.
