Certis Security Australia is continuing to extend its footprint in Queensland, following the recent award of security contracts for both the Gold Coast Turf Club and Southern Cross University, as well as Sunshine Coast Airport.
The partnership with Gold Coast Turf Club, which coincides with the venue’s $A38 million redevelopment, will see Certis Security deploy security personnel at the race meetings and special events at Gold Coast Turf Club, Beaudesert Race Club and special events at the Gold Coast Event Centre.
“Gold Coast Turf Club is not just a racecourse, but a celebrated venue visited by many from across Australia for corporate and private functions,” said Steve Crews, state manager, Protective Services Queensland, Certis Security Australia. “We are excited to be chosen as partners on the journey to night racing with the planned redevelopment.
“This partnership emphasises our commitment and investment into Queensland, following last year’s relaunch of our Queensland office and new partnerships with key customers, including Sunshine Coast Airport, Southern Cross University and other major national brands.”
According to Steve Lines, CEO at Gold Coast Turf Club, Certis Security Australia came out on top as being the best fit for the venue after a rigorous selection process.
“When visiting Gold Coast Turf Club, patrons expect a certain level to their experience, which is something Certis Security Australia is committed to delivering through a combination of people skills and technology,” Lines said.
“Possessing such a rich history in the Australian market, the organisation understands the role it plays in ensuring visitors have a great time, which was critical in our decision to appoint Certis Security Australia. They are strongly aligned with our community values and their delivery to date has been perfectly aligned to our service proposition.”
