City of Greater Bendigo Seeks Security Services for Multiple Municipal Sites.
City of Greater Bendigo Seeks Security Services – City of Greater Bendigo has issued a request for tender for the provision of security services across a range of council owned and managed facilities, including buildings, structures and aquatic sites.
According to tender documentation, the council is seeking submissions from accredited and suitably licensed security providers with experience delivering services across municipal infrastructure and public facilities. The contract covers the provision of security services for nominated sites operated by the City and is structured as a separable portion contract.
Under the proposed arrangement, the contract is divided into 3 separable portions. Each portion will be awarded to a single supplier, although a single contractor may be awarded more than one portion depending on the evaluation outcome. The structure allows the council to procure security services across multiple operational areas while maintaining flexibility in supplier selection.
The scope of services includes security coverage for council managed buildings, structures and aquatic facilities. These services will involve a combination of static guarding, patrols, alarm response, access control management and after-hours site protection, depending on the operational requirements of each facility.
Tenderers will have the opportunity to attend a tender briefing scheduled for Monday 16 March 2026 at 10am at Galkangu, Bendigo Gov Hub, 195–229 Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo, with an option to attend online via Microsoft Teams. Interested parties are required to register in advance to attend the briefing.
