Coffs Harbour Bypass Needs CCTV Solution.
Coffs Harbour Bypass Needs CCTV – Coffs Harbour Bypass is a 14km road bypass that will allow travellers on the Pacific Highway to bypass Coffs Harbour – the project needs variously needs CCTV, PA, vehicle detection and boom gates.
This complex project will save motorists 11 minutes travel time, bypass up to 12 sets of traffic lights and remove thousands of vehicles from the Coffs Harbour CBD.
The $1.35 billion major work design and construct contract has been awarded to Ferrovial Gamuda Joint Venture (CHBTeam). Major work is expected to start about March 2023, with the bypass expected to be open to traffic from late 2026, with the project complete in late 2027.
CHBteam is partnering with ICN NSW to maximise utilisation of local businesses and suppliers. The team is looking to partner with subcontractors and suppliers who are connected with the Coffs Harbour area and surrounds, as well as creating a positive legacy for the project beyond construction.
As part of an extensive scope of works, CHBTeam needs a CCTV and Avid System to monitor works, while the motorway will also need monitoring once completed. There are other elements of relevance, including PA, boom gates, vehicles detection and more.
