Council Seeks Milestone CCTV For Centralised Video Monitoring Solution.
Council Seeks Milestone CCTV – Banana Shire Council is seeking a contractor to supply and install a Milestone CCTV system at the Moura Recreational Grounds.
Moura Recreational Grounds serve as a central hub for community sports and events in Moura, Queensland. The grounds feature facilities for various sports, including tennis, volleyball, futsal, and netball, catering to both casual players and competitive teams.
The project reflects Council’s requirement to improve site security and oversight of public assets while consolidating monitoring at an existing staffed facility.
Operationally, the project must be structured to deliver centralised video monitoring back to the Council Library building where existing internet connectivity is already in place.
The scope covers design and delivery of a complete CCTV and network solution linking multiple sites of interest across the recreational grounds to the library via point-to-point wireless connectivity. The successful contractor will be responsible for supplying and configuring point-to-point equipment, completing installations to establish backhaul connectivity, and delivering CCTV coverage in accordance with mapping that defines camera locations, viewing angles and capture requirements.
Works also include supply and configuration of network video recording infrastructure, with a Husky 150D or equivalent NVR specified, alongside network switching, uninterruptible power supply, and a wall-mounted rack installation within the Moura Council Library to house core equipment. Network cabling supply, installation, and termination form part of the contract, as does Milestone system configuration and camera licensing to support video management.
Banana Shire Council is the local government authority responsible for municipal services and community infrastructure across central Queensland. The Moura Recreational Grounds form part of Council’s public facilities portfolio, supporting community sport and events.
Tenderers are required to include all labour, accommodation, and meal allowances within their pricing. Supporting documentation and site mapping accompany the request to define technical and coverage requirements.
The Council Seeks Milestone CCTV tender closes at 5pm on February 28 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
