Dicker First Half Revenues Leap 15.7 Per Cent DAS Revenue Grows 10.7 Per Cent.

Dicker First Half Revenues Leap 15.7 Per Cent – Dicker Data has reported its H1 FY25 results, with total gross revenue reaching $A1.84 billion, jumping 15.7 per cent year-on-year, with net profit before tax up 11.4 per cent to $56.6 million, while EBITDA reached $75.4 million, up 9.4 per cent. Dividends totalled 22 cents per share for the half.

The company has updated its FY25 guidance, forecasting between $3.7 billion and $3.8 billion in gross revenue, and profit before tax of $120 million to $124 million, representing a margin of approximately 3.2 to 3.4 per cent.

Dicker Access and Surveillance posted strong growth, increasing revenue by 10.7 per cent to $63.2 million, up from $57.1 million in 2024. The business unit expanded its offering with the addition of SmokeShield to its distribution portfolio.

Executive Chair Fiona Brown said the Dicker team had delivered “a strong first-half result, returning the company to double-digit growth in a competitive market.” Brown said the focus remained on long-term shareholder value and adapting go-to-market strategies to optimise product mix and efficiency.

CFO Mary Stojcevski said the company had recorded “a strong rebound in the first half of FY25,” with the Australian business achieving an 18 per cent increase in gross revenue to $1.548 billion and a 14.5 per cent increase in profit before tax to $52.9 million. New Zealand also reported solid growth, with revenue up 4.9 per cent to $NZD291.7 million and profit before tax up 10.9 per cent to $5.1 million.

The company highlighted key drivers, including accelerated device refresh linked to Windows 10 end-of-life and large AI-related transactions. June marked the tenth consecutive month of device sales growth, and Dicker Data continues to lead distribution of Microsoft Copilot in Australia and New Zealand. The first deployment stage of Australia’s sovereign AI factory A1-F1 also contributed to the result, with further phases expected to follow.

New vendor agreements included CrowdStrike, BMC, Vast Data, and SmokeShield, along with the launch of a Telco division supported by vendors such as Optus and Vocus.

COO Vlad Mitnovetski said the team had added new strategic vendors and was investing in an AI ecosystem to generate new revenue streams and partner growth.

“We reported growth against each of the key product categories within the company in the first half,” Mitnovetski said. “Software was our highest growth segment, delivering 20.9 per cent growth on the prior corresponding period, followed by End Point Solutions at 18.6 per cent and Advanced Solutions at 17.2 per cent.”

Mitnovetski said market conditions remained subdued, but the company was well positioned with strong vendor relationships and market share and expected improved conditions in the second half.
