East Gippsland Shire Council Seeks CCTV Network Maintenance and Support.

East Gippsland Shire Council Seeks CCTV – East Gippsland Shire Council has issued a tender seeking suitably qualified contractors to support its council-managed CCTV network across multiple locations in eastern Victoria.

The council is responsible for a large regional municipality covering coastal, rural and township environments across East Gippsland. Its operational footprint includes civic buildings, public spaces, transport hubs, community facilities and tourism precincts spread across towns such as Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville, Orbost and Mallacoota.

CCTV plays an important role in supporting public safety, asset protection and incident investigation across these widely distributed locations, each of which has different operational security profiles.

According to the tender release, contractors are invited to deliver a range of CCTV and surveillance services across council sites. The scope includes supply, installation and commissioning of CCTV systems, as well as preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance for existing infrastructure. Services may also extend to associated equipment, cabling and signage required to support operational CCTV deployments.
