Enterprise CCTV And Access Control For 200 Schools – Tasmania’s Department for Education, Children and Young People has released a statewide standing offer tender seeking suppliers to provide an enterprise CCTV system and access control system across its portfolio.

The tender covers the provision of enterprise-grade video surveillance and electronic access control suitable for deployment across education and youth facilities managed by the department throughout Tasmania. The scope anticipates solutions capable of consistent operation, central management and scalability across multiple sites, reflecting the department’s broad operational footprint.
The Tasmanian Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) manages around 220 to 230 sites statewide, including around 200 government schools and colleges, spanning primary, secondary and senior secondary education across Tasmania. There are also early learning and child and family centres, including child and family learning centres and early years hubs; support and specialist facilities, such as education offices, professional learning centres, and student support sites; and youth justice and child safety–related facilities.
The contract is scheduled to commence July 1, 2026, with an initial term through to June 30, 2028, with options to extend through to June 30, 2031. The procurement is classified as a covered procurement and is subject to applicable free trade agreement provisions. The department has reserved the right to negotiate with tenderers during the process.
