EST Deploys Axis Radar and Video Fusion Camera Technology At High Value Site.

EST Deploys Axis Radar and Video Fusion Camera Technology – Electronic Security Technologies has completed a security upgrade for a high-value yard site, deploying Axis radar and video fusion products to deliver early detection and CCTV tracking of intruders across a wide outdoor area.

The installation includes Axis D2110-VE and D2210-VE radar sensors, which provide accurate detection and classification of people and vehicles using an Axis Q1656-DLE radar-video fusion camera. The Q1656-DLE combines a Q-line camera with an integrated radar to enable accurate tracking in low visibility.

Meanwhile, Axis P5676-LE PTZ cameras are used to automatically track potential intruders across the site after initial radar detection.

This capable 5MP PTZ camera features a 1/2.9-inch CMOS sensor with forensic WDR and Lightfinder 2.0 technology for low light colour performance down to 0.11 lux and 0.03 lux in monochrome. Maximum resolution is 2688 x 1512 at up to 60fps.

An integrated 4.6–133mm lens offers a horizontal angle of view of 57.1 to 2.1 degrees and a vertical angle of view of 34.4 to 1.2 degrees. The IP66 and IK10-rated unit supports electronic image stabilisation, built-in IR with OptimizedIR, and is capable of autotracking using Autotracking 2.

This purposeful surveillance solution integrates with an ICT Protege GX access control, alarm and automation system, and is monitored through NX Witness VMS, which manages live and recorded video for operator verification. Site-wide connectivity is provided by Ubiquiti wireless access points.

“Early detection is key to stopping intrusions before damage or loss occurs, and this combination of radar, PTZ, access control, VMS, and wireless infrastructure, is one of the most accurate and reliable security measures available today,” said Nathan Cayirylys of Electronic Security Technologies.

“This solution safeguards millions of dollars in stock and equipment, providing faster response times, fewer false alarms, and peace of mind that the site is protected 24/7.”

Electronic Security Technologies is a boutique security technologies provider based in Newcastle, NSW, and directly servicing Newcastle and the Hunter, Port Stephens, Central Coast, North Coast, mid-North Coast, South Coast, North West, and Central West of NSW.

EST’s solutions include access control, alarms, CCTV, intercom, integrations, data and fibre, alarm monitoring and more. You can learn more about EST here or read more SEN news here.
