Frankston City Council Seeks Thermal CCTV – Frankston City Council has issued a tender seeking the installation of a CCTV-based thermal fire detection and monitoring solution.
Council is looking for a comprehensive system that integrates early thermal detection capabilities into its existing video monitoring network, along with a remote monitoring service supported by patrol responses. Regular preventative maintenance and cleaning of installed equipment are also required under the tender specifications.
Located in Victoria, Frankston City Council covers approximately 130 square kilometres along Port Phillip Bay, south of Melbourne, and has a population nearing 150,000 residents.
The council currently maintains an extensive CCTV network in the town centre and along the foreshore, primarily focused on community safety and security.
