Fraser Coast Security Wins Big Council Contract Covering Electronic Security And Operational Support.
Fraser Coast Security Wins Big Council Contract – Fraser Coast Regional Council has awarded a broad multi-service security contract to Fraser Coast Security.
The contract covers a wide range of services, marking a significant outsourcing of integrated physical security, surveillance, and operational support across the council’s facilities and critical infrastructure.
The tender was structured in 9 separable portions and included requirements for CCTV and electronic surveillance, alarm monitoring, alarm system maintenance and repair, mobile patrols, static guarding, locking and unlocking of council premises, banking services, and two categories of aviation screening at local transport hubs.
Fraser Coast Security will be responsible for delivering alarm activations and repairs, monitoring services, and patrols across multiple council sites, along with CCTV system management. The contract also includes airport passenger and baggage screening, fulfilling compliance requirements for aviation security services under federal regulations.
Fraser Coast Regional Council allowed for partial or full awards based on budget availability, with pricing submitted per portion and conditional discounts offered for awarding the entire package. Council said the awarding of all services to a single provider streamlines management and simplifies operational coordination across the region.
