Gallagher Appoints Tim Clayton – Gallagher Security has appointed Tim Clayton as senior business development manager South Australia and Northern Territory.
According to Gallagher’s George Dunleavy, Clayton brings an outstanding reputation, a wealth of knowledge and many connections in the South Australian business community to the role, having spent the last 10 years building a strong client base and securing contracts and high value recurrent sales with major companies.
Clayton’s appointment to this newly created position is the culmination of a successful re-imagining of team structure following the internal promotion of George Dunleavy to sales manager SA/NT in January. The appointment brings SA/NT resources up to full capacity, enabling the team to move forward with regional goals and strategies in place for 2024.
“Throughout this recruitment process we have been focused on finding the best candidate for the role,” Dunleavy said. “We needed someone that understands the idiosyncrasies of the local market and how to maximise opportunities in a highly competitive environment. With several major projects currently in progress within the region, and more on the horizon, Dunleavy said Clayton’s appointment will enable the team to push ahead with ‘renewed energy and a broader perspective’.
According to Gallagher Security’s executive vice president for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa (APAC and IMEA), Craig Schutte, Clayton stood out in a shortlist of impressive and competitive candidates due to his breadth of experience and business acumen.
