Security integrator SecureWais has installed an enterprise Gallagher Mobile Connect solution to protect global investment firm, Ninety One, which has offices located across Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
A recent refurbishment of the Ninety One headquarters in London saw the team work with certified Gallagher channel partner, SecureWais UK, to implement a centrally deployed access control system that utilizes one credential across all of their global offices.
With the refurbishment coinciding with the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, SecureWais UK, recommended a contactless access control solution built around Gallagher’s Mobile Connect. This mobile access application; which offers optional 2-factor authentication, easily administered credential provisioning, and a secure, on-phone Digital ID; is ready to roll out to Ninety One’s global employees as they return to their offices.
“The ease with which we can deploy access credentials for any of our employees globally has provided a huge step change – particularly when we return to travel between global offices using a single credential,” said Nick Baker, workplace global coordinator at Ninety One.
Baker praised the suite of reports available within Gallagher’s Command Centre, which delivers the Ninety One team access to automatic daily reports displaying personnel in the building, which go straight to Head Office for any COVID-19 track and trace management. This functionality has proven vital for managing risks and protecting the health and safety of employees and visitors.
According to Baker, the overall success of the project has been down to the relationship between integrator SecureWais UK, and Ninety One.
“SecureWais UK proposed and delivered a solution that matched our brief, with a brilliant ability to swiftly adapt to the changing world we’ve all experienced in 2020. Whilst the pandemic continues to hinder everyone’s progress, the team at Securewais UK responds to every part of our evolving brief and delivered a solution that is perfect for our business,” he said.
Tahera Hammond, global head of workplace at Ninety One, was instrumental in calling for the global security strategy.
“Our new security solution has enabled the whole team to seamlessly transition to the use of a mobile access credential and the easy deployment from one central point has been pivotal to the success of the new strategy,” Hammond said.
