GALLAGHER Security is looking for a driven technical BDM – high security who will report to the high security sales manager with the responsibility of driving momentum in a new market.
Technical BDM – high security is a national role and ideally the successful applicant will be based in Canberra. Day to day you’ll be required to advise on and drive the implementation of agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforces, supports and drives the profitable development of the high security business across Australia.
Applicants will need to have an understanding of the Australian High Security Type 1A market with the necessary clearances to perform this role in Australia. There are elements of technical account management meaning the successful applicant will be required to provide; training and development to skilled technicians and technical presentations and demonstrations to consultants and potential customers.
The successful candidate will have proven success in business development and technical roles and be able to evidence his/her approach to identifying, generating and developing new business opportunities and channels to market. To be successful in the role you will need to be an excellent communicator, with strong relationship skills, and the ability to work remotely.
You will be known for possessing high standards of integrity, exemplifying best practice, with a can-do attitude. The nature of the role and the region requires an entrepreneurial mindset. Previous knowledge and experience of working with Gallagher Security and good system knowledge will be mandatory.
