Gallagher Upgrade Tool Wins – Gallagher’s Command Centre Controller Upgrade Tool has won a Security Today New Product of the Year award in the access control software/controllers category.

The Gallagher Controller Upgrade Tool came with the latest version of Gallagher’s intelligent site management software, Command Centre v8.70. It allows an operator to find, sort, and filter controllers into groups, which can be set to upgrade now or scheduled to be run at a future date and time.

According to Ralph C. Jensen, editor-in-chief of Security Today magazine, after hosting this New Product of the Year program, he was struck with the intense effort by manufacturers, who exceeded last year’s entries.

“We are fortunate to have so many entries and applaud every entry for the ingenuity and painstaking efforts to ensure the security business meets technology challenges,” Jensen said.

This is the 14th year of the independently juried contest, where winners were honoured in 47 product award categories.
