GEA Seeks Energetic Security Apprentice – GEA Security, based in Montmorency in Melbourne is seeking an energetic apprentice security technician to handle a range of tasks.

The successful candidate will be a school leaver or 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice security technician eager to join a growing team, and will be trained and supported by a team of skilled technicians on industrial, commercial and residential sites, installing and servicing electronic security systems, including alarms, CCTV and access control.
Work you will be assisting with includes carry out onsite servicing, programming and installation of alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intercom and other IT based systems.
You’ll also be handling troubleshooting, as well as identifying causes of software and hardware malfunctions, providing clients with phone support and remote programming/fault investigation, and build strong relationships with clients to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Your personal attributes include a strong work ethic, good organisation skills, good presentation, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Skills and qualifications required include current Australian Driver’s License, Victorian Construction Induction Card (White Card), Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia.
