Dominic Papalia has joined the fast-growing Genetec team in a newly created position as regional sales manager, ANZ.

In this newly created position, Papalia will work with Genetec channel partners to drive new business and continue to expand Genetec marketing penetration and revenue across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania (Southern Region).

“Dominic brings with him a wealth of sector expertise and channel sales experience and will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth across Australia and New Zealand,” said George Moawad, genetec country manager ANZ. “Genetec is experiencing dynamic growth across ANZ and this newly created senior sales position aims to take our regional sales efforts to the next level.”

Prior to joining Genetec, Papalia spent 3 years as regional sales manager for video security solutions company Avigilon, where he was responsible for video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras and access control solutions. Previously, he spent almost three years as business development manager for CR Kennedy & Company where he oversaw account management for CCTV resellers and integrators. Papalia also has extensive sales and business development experience with LG Electronics, InFocus Corporation and Hewlett Packard.

“I am joining Genetec during a period of rapid growth for its Australia and New Zealand business and look forward to working with our channel partners and ANZ team to further increase our market share,” Papalia said. “Genetec has an impressive and innovative product portfolio and I am proud to be joining the expanding ANZ team.”

Based in Melbourne, Papalia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media/Video Studies and a Photography Minor from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.
