Gold Corporation Seeks Electronic Identity Verification – Gold Corporation is seeking proposals for the supply of an electronic identity verification (eIDV) and fraud monitoring software solution to support its customer due diligence processes.
The organisation, which operates The Perth Mint and Australia’s leading precious metals refinery, has issued this request for a 1-year contract, with 2 optional 1-year extensions at its discretion.
The solution will support Gold Corporation’s security and compliance objectives across retail, industrial, and digital channels. Shortlisted respondents may be required to demonstrate their proposed solution before final selection.
Gold Corporation manages 2 primary operations in Western Australia. The Perth Mint in East Perth houses a retail shop, public exhibition, guided tours, and the historic gold pour in its original melting house, all contained within heritage-listed buildings dating back to 1899. The precinct also includes supporting offices and security facilities.
The organisation’s refinery, located near Perth Airport, processes approximately 232 tonnes of gold and 325 tonnes of silver each year. This facility is accredited by the LBMA and other global exchanges, and provides services including assaying, automated casting, granulation, and secure storage.
With more than 700 employees and ownership by the Western Australian Government under the Gold Corporation Act 1987, the Corporation plays a central role in Australia’s precious metals value chain. The successful eIDV and fraud monitoring solution provider will be expected to align with Gold Corporation’s operational, regulatory, and security environment.
