Hanwha SPD-152 Decoder

Hanwha SPD-152 Video Decoder – Hanwha’s new SPD-152 network video decoder from EOS.

It is a compact unit designed to allow streams of video to be output to several monitors as part of a video wall or guard station application.

The SPD-152 is NDAA-compliant, has 2 HDMI ports – HDMI 1  (up-to 4K video and audio support), and HDMI 2 (up to 1080p video and no audio), supports 64 channels at 8MP and 60ips, and 64 channels at 2MP and 360ips.

The decoder which is a hardware video decoder has a CPU running an embedded Linux operating system and features a video codec supporting H.265, H.265 and MJPEG, and an audio codec supporting G.711, G.726 and AAC.

System management and configuration are handled via a local user interface, as well as via a web viewer, there’s export/import configuration functions and NTP or manual time settings.

Protocols include RTP, RTSP, HTTP, CGI (SUNAPI), ONVIF, while cyber security features include security IP address filtering, user access log, 802.1x, encryption device certificate(Hanwha Techwin Root CA), and signed firmware.

The decoder is black in colour, has a 0-40C operating temperature, weighs 260g, has dimensions of 140 x 29.5 x 115.4mm, can be installed on the rear of a monitor or pole mounted, and powered by PoE or 12V DC dual power.
