Hikvision 12MP DeepinView Fisheye Camera – Hikvision’s 12MP DS-2CD63C5GO-IS DeepinView fisheye camera offers an awful lot of functionality – including people counting and an intuitive heatmap – in a compact and robust package.
This day/night camera has a 1/1.8-inch sensor with a resolution of 3504 x 3504 pixels. Low light performance numbers are strong – colour at 0.03 Lux @ (F2.2, AGC ON), monochrome at 0.006 Lux @ (F2.2, AGC ON), and monochrome in 0 Lux with its 850nm 15-metre IR activated.
The 1.2mm wide angle lens has an aperture of F2.2, a hyperfocal distance of .2m, and DORI numbers of 27.9 for detect, 11.1 metres for observe, 5.6 metres for recognise and 2.8 metres for identify. These numbers are typical for a 360-degree camera with a situational awareness brief.
Image settings include saturation, brightness, contrast, sharpness, white balance, AGC, adjustable by client software or web browser, there’s WDR of dB, image enhancement includes BLC, HLC, 3D DNR, distortion correction, and defog. There are 8 programmable privacy masks and a logo overlay feature.

Hikvision 12MP DeepinView Fisheye Camera – Main stream compression options include H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264, while the sub-stream offers H.265, H.264 and MJPEG, while bit rate control options include CBR, VBR, scalable video coding (SVC), and there’s region of interest (ROI) with 4 fixed regions for each stream. Audio compression is G.711, G.722.1, G.726, MP2L2, PCM, MP3 and AAC-LC.
Network protocols include TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, PPPoE, NTP, UPnP, SMTP, SNMP, IGMP, 802.1X, QoS, IPv4, IPv6, UDP, Bonjour, SSL/TLS, ISUP, ARP, WebSocket and WebSockets.
There’s simultaneous live view of up to 20 channels for up to 32 users in 3 user levels – administrator, operator, and user. Client options include iVMS-4200, iVMS-4500, iVMS-5200 and Hik-Connect.
Security is via password protection, complicated password, HTTPS encryption, 802.1X authentication (EAP-TLS, EAP-LEAP, EAP-MD5), watermark, IP address filter, basic and digest authentication for HTTP/HTTPS, WSSE and digest authentication for Open Network Video Interface, RTP/RTSP over HTTPS, control timeout settings, security audit log, TLS 1.2, and host authentication (MAC address).
Hikvision 12MP DeepinView Fisheye Camera – Network storage options include NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS), Auto Network Replenishment (ANR), and Hikvision memory card, memory card encryption and health detection are supported. There’s an integrated microphone and speaker, support for microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC card, up to 256GB, 2 alarm inputs and 2 outputs, and an RS-485 input.
When it comes to smart functions, there’s motion detection, video tampering alarm, alarm input and output, exception (network disconnected, IP address conflict, illegal login, HDD full, HDD error).
Smart events include line crossing detection, intrusion detection, region entrance detection, region exiting detection, scene change detection, audio exception detection, defocus detection, unattended baggage detection and object removal detection.
The camera can upload to FTP/NAS/memory card, notify surveillance centres, send email, trigger alarm output, trigger recording and trigger capture.

Hikvision 12MP DeepinView Fisheye Camera – A graphic description of visits (by calculating amount of people or amount of dwell time) in a configured area. Two report types are available – space heat map and time heat map line chart.
Meanwhile, intersection analysis detects and analyzes flow in an intersection-like scene and generates reports. The camera can support one intersection of up to 10 ways.
Power requirements are 11.5W maximum PoE or 12V DC, the camera is 260mm × 230mm × 135mm, weight is 715g, operating temperature is -40 to 60C, there’s an integrated heater, and the camera has ratings of IP67 against water and dust, and IK10 against impact.
