Hikvision’s Acusense 4K fixed turret camera has arrived at SEN for testing – it’s bigger than an ordinary turret camera and the build quality is excellent, with plenty of metal.
The 8MP resolution is supported by Darkfighter technology to enhance low light performance, there’s H.265 compression, 120dB of WDR, a build that rated IP67 against water and dust.
The key to this camera is Acusense, which is a deep learning algorithm that’s able to distinguish pedestrians, vehicles and objects and report events based on rules around what they do.
Video clips are sorted into the categories – people and vehicles – users click one of these categories and use time or location data to quickly locate the clip they need, making searches faster, as filtration has already been applied to footage.
