Honeywell Bringing OT Cybersecurity Solutions To SAGE – Honeywell Building Automation will show cybersecurity solutions designed specifically for operational technology (OT) environments, including HVAC, access control, fire detection, security systems, and building management platforms at SAGE 2025.

According to Honeywell, unlike traditional IT systems, OT environments require purpose-built protection due to their critical infrastructure role and unique vulnerabilities – Honeywell’s tools address this gap through a combination of visibility, control, and managed services.

Cyber Insights and Cyber Watch provide near real-time monitoring across building systems. These platforms deliver asset inventories, flag vulnerabilities, and detect anomalous behaviour across single or multi-site networks. The ability to monitor systems locally or centrally allows for tailored risk management approaches.

Honeywell also offers professional services, including network design, incident response planning, risk assessments, and 24/7 managed monitoring. These services are designed to support long-term resilience through informed planning and ongoing threat detection.

A suite of software and appliances is available for endpoint protection, patch management, backup and disaster recovery, and removable media control. These tools aim to reduce exposure in environments where standard IT controls are insufficient or difficult to implement.

By securing building OT infrastructure, operators can maintain compliance with safety, energy efficiency, and operational continuity requirements. Cybersecurity is increasingly integral to the performance of facilities, particularly in high-dependency or critical environments.

Honeywell’s solutions are intended to improve the cyber resilience of building systems through OT-specific architecture and tools – don’t miss these and more on the Honeywell stand at SAGE this year!

SAGE, which is sponsored by Gallagher Security and held in partnership with ASIS ACT, opens on November 20 at the Realm Hotel in Canberra. Alongside the expo are free ASIS ACT seminars (register here), ASIS ACT training sessions (register here), the annual ASIS ACT Dinner (register here) – you can find more SEN news here.
