ICT Announces Enhanced Suprema Biometric Integration – ICT has announced an upgraded integration between its Protege GX enterprise platform and Suprema’s range of biometric readers, including full support for the latest BioStation 3 face recognition terminal.

The integration, available with Protege GX software v4.3.393 and above, simplifies user management and biometric enrolment by centralising all configuration and credential management within the Protege GX interface.

According to Josh Baker, integration product manager at ICT user management and biometric enrolment are seamlessly handled through the Protege GX interface, enabling administrators to manage everything efficiently from one centralized platform.

“This latest update builds on ICT’s long-standing technology partnership with Suprema and extends integration to the BioStation 3, FaceStation F2, and BioEntry W3 biometric readers,” Baker said.

“The combined solution targets high-security environments such as data centres, financial institutions, and corporate premises, where secure, centralised access control and audit trails are critical.”

Protege GX’s ISO 27001 compliance and support for encryption from door controller to server underpin a strong cybersecurity posture. When paired with Suprema biometrics, the system delivers an added layer of protection through secure biometric credentials. The integration also supports workforce automation through compatibility with time and attendance systems.
